Pirelli Tire North America recently introduced a cosmetic performance tire designed for the domestic market.
The P5000 SuperSport is a T-rated, all-season tire with raised white outline letters. It features the following, according to Pirelli:
* a unique tread pattern designed to provide excellent handling in both wet and dry conditions while providing a smoother, quieter ride.
* central, slanted and longitudinal grooves, which provide optimal handling on wet road conditions.
* a special tread compound that ensures better traction in wet and dry conditions.
The tire is available in seven sizes: P205/60R13, P215/60R14, P235/60R14, P245/60R14, P255/60R15, P275/60R15 and P295/50R15.
