Falken announces aggressive marketing campaigns

Falken Tire Corp. is backing the Falken brand, including its new Falken ZIEX S/TZ-04 luxury SUV Sport Truck line, with aggressive marketing campaigns.

The Falken Dream Ride Sweepstakes will reward one lucky Falken retail or wholesale tire dealer with his or her choice of a two-year lease on a 2002 Cadillac Escalade or $25,000 in cash. The Escalade will be tricked out with 22-inch Ziex S/TZ-04s.

The S/TZ-04 is available in 10 H-rated sizes from P255/55R18 to P305/40R23. It comes with a 14/32-inch tread depth and a 50,000-mile limited tread wear warranty.

Falken also announced it is the "official tire" of the NOPI Nationals Motorsports Supershow, which showcases custom compact cars and the "tuner" lifestyle.

"Within the custom compact market, NOPI is the show of all shows," says Jim Stobie, Falken's enthusiast marketing manager. "This is the event that all custom compact enthusiasts wait for each year."

"Falken's aggressive ad campaign and style of marketing is a perfect fit for the cutting-edge image of NOPI and the NOPI Nationals," says Michael Myers, president of the NOPI Nationals Motorsports Supershow.

The 15th annual NOPI Supershow will be held at the Atlanta Motor Speedway September 21-22, 2002. Event organizers expect a crowd in excess of 70,000 people and more than 5,000 show cars and trucks.
