CTNA announces price increase

Continental Tire North America Inc. (CTNA) will raise its consumer tire prices up to 8% on Jan. 1, 2006.

The increase will apply to all replacement channel Continental, General and private brand passenger and light truck tires, a CTNA spokesperson told moderntiredealer.com earlier today.

CTNA is hiking prices due to raw material price increases, she says.
