West Plains, Mo.-based Ozarko Tire has opened its third retread plant, a 15,000-square-foot facility in Pottsville, Ark.
The Michelin Retread Technologies Inc. plant has an initial production run of 125 truck tire units a day, "with potential to (rise to) 250 (units) over the next 36 months," according to Ozarko Tire President Gary McGinnis Sr.
Ozarko Tire's two other retread plants currently produce 275 truck tire units per day, combined.
