Cooper promotes Lauth to lab manager

Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. has named Timothy Lauth manager of its Corporate Technical Center Materials Laboratory.

Lauth will be responsible for managing daily laboratory operations and leading the group in the future development, administration and execution of testing to enhance capabilities, data integrity and productivity.

In his seven-year career with Cooper, he also has served as a compound development engineer in materials development, an extruded product development engineer for Cooper-Standard, a commercial tire development engineer and two years in the Melksham, United Kingdom, production facility as a factory technical services engineer.

Lauth graduated from the United States Military Academy in 1989 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He served eight years on active duty as an Army Aviation officer, where he held numerous leadership positions.
