Michelin North America Inc. is increasing prices for its motorcycle tires, scooter tires, tubes and accessories. The company cites increasing raw material costs as the reason for the increases.
Effective Sept. 1, 2005, replacement tire prices for Michelin two-wheel tires sold in the United States, Canada and Mexico will increase an average of 5%. Additionally, all backorders will be re-priced and shipped at the new price.
