Steelworkers at Bridgestone Firestone North American Tire LLC's (BFNT) Warren County, Tenn., plant have ratified their new labor agreement with the company.
Seventy-six-percent of workers voted to accept the agreement.
Union members at the plant had previously rejected the tentative agreement and set a strike date of July 22.
However, last week, they withdrew their strike notification and announced a re-vote, which concluded today.
New labor deals are now in place at eight BFNT plants throughout the U.S. They are set to expire next July.
