Maintenance workers at Bridgestone Firestone North American Tire LLC's (BFNT) La Vergne, Tenn., plant ratified their tentative agreement with the company yesterday.
The factory's maintenance group is comprised of about 200 people.
Earlier this week, Steelworkers at seven BFNT facilities ratified new labor contracts/agreements with the Nashville, Tenn.-based tiremaker.
The only BFNT facility operating without contract or agreement is Warren County, Tenn. Workers there rejected a proposed agreement last month.
The new contract/agreements expire in July 2006, say BFNT officials.
