The Rubber Manufacturers Association announced has hired Chris Gullott as director, state government affairs.

Gullott previously worked for the Personal Watercraft Industry Association (PWIA) as manager of external and state affairs. In that role, he formulated advocacy efforts on behalf of PWIA members and also served as a media spokesperson.

Prior to that, Gullott served as legislative associate for Stateside Associates, a state government relations management firm. He also worked as a steering committee coordinator for the New York State Assembly Minority Leader, and was a campaign liaison for the New York State Republican Assembly Campaign Committee.

"Chris will be superb asset to RMA," says Scott Brenner, RMA vice president, government relations. "His experience will enable RMA to maintain a strong state advocacy program."
