Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. has selected its second aviation tire testing center.
The facility, the 43 Air School, is located in Port Alfred, South Africa. It has 40 aircraft.
Goodyear's other aviation tire testing facility is in Daytona Beach, Fla.
"To evaluate aircraft tire performance, we need aircraft and we needlandings to provide data quickly," says Richard Brown, general aviation sales and marketing manager for Goodyear.
