Innovative Tread Replacement (I.T.R.) Inc. will host a grand opening for customers, suppliers and community members on May 6 and 7, 2005, at its new location in Jacksonville, Ill.
More than 700 people are expected to attend the open house, which will include plant tours of the company's state-of-the-art retread process that uses laser shearography to scan for hidden damage and pressure testing of each finished tire to ensure integrity.
I.T.R. has experienced rapid growth in the recent years due to its response to the needs of today’s trucking companies, says Richard Brahler, president
"We made a commitment to our customers to provide the highest quality product possible at an affordable price. Our customers have been dealing with recent Illinois legislation and difficult market conditions that have resulted in devastating financial blows. Tires are one of the three largest expenses for truck operators," says Brahler.
"I felt that we needed to bring a value-added product to help trucking fleets control their tire related expenses. I.T.R. is the result of that planning. The positive customer feedback that we have received to date indicates we are headed in the right direction."
