Treadways announces organizational changes

Lyle Symonds has been promoted to senior vice president of private brand sales for Treadways Corp.

His new responsibilities include overseeing Treadways' Eldorado Tire Co. and Jetzon/Telstar divisions, plus the newly created Laramie Tire division. He will report directly to Treadways President Roy Araki.

Chris Dickson, formerly a regional manager for TreadXpress in Texas, has replaced Symonds as vice president of sales and marketing for Eldorado. He will relocate to company headquarters in East Norriton, Pa., and report to Symonds.

Bob Klimm, formerly national sales manager for TreadXpress, has been named vice president of sales and marketing for Laramie Tire. He also will report to Symonds.

John McAndrew, formerly vice president of special accounts, will take over the reorganized TreadXpress division and its eight wholesale operations around the country. He will report to Araki.

Rounding out the hierarchy are Bill Hirst, vice president of sales and marketing for Jetzon/Telstar, and Richard Purol, vice president of sales and marketing for Sumitomo Tire. They will report to Symonds and Araki, respectively.
