Michelin prepares for Zingraff retirement

March 2, 2005

During Groupe Michelin's annual shareholders' meeting in May, Edouard Michelin and Rene Zingraff, Michelin's managing partners, will propose the appointment of Michel Rollier as a managing partner.

Rollier is currently Michelin's chief financial officer and a member of the Group Executive Council (CEG).

The proposal serves as part of preparations for the retirement of Zingraff, the company says.

Replacing Rollier as Michelin's chief financial officer will be Jean-Dominique Senard, who will join Michelin on March 15. He will take over the CFO position by the end of the year. Senard also will become a member of the CEG.
