Bishop, Calif.-baed Symons Tire Inc. is the newest member of the Tire Retread Information Bureau (TRIB).
Symons Tire is owned by Mike "Mac" McElvogue and has been a Bandag retreader for 17-plus years.
"'Mac' does all the actual retreading" at his shop, say TRIB officials.
"We are delighted to have Symons Tire as a part of the TRIB family," says TRIB Managing Director Harvey Brodksy.
"They may be small in size but their service can stand along the biggest dealers."
TRIB has more than 400 members in 31 countries.
