Bridgestone Firestone North American Tire LLC (BFNT) has added the Firestone Transforce AT to its line of Firestone Transforce light truck and SUV tires.
The Firestone Transforce AT is engineered to give commercial service vehicles all-terrain wet and dry performance, the company says. It is built with the company’s UNI-T technology and has a two-ply polyester body, steel belts and a full, spiral-wrap nylon cap ply.
The M & S-rated Firestone Transforce AT also features continuous shoulder ribs with deep shoulder slots. It offers chip and tear resistance and has an aggressive tread design and a rugged, all-terrain appearance.
“The Firestone Transforce AT was designed to satisfy the rugged, off-road demands that hard-working service vehicles require while still providing on-road performance,” says Phil Pacsi, executive director, North American consumer tire brand marketing.
The introduction of the Firestone Transforce AT follows the 2004 Specialty Equipment Market Associaiton (SEMA) Show introduction of the Firestone Transforce HT.
The Firestone Transforce AT is now available in the seven popular 15- and 16-inch Load Range C, D and E sizes listed below. Additional sizes will be added throughout 2005.
