Nokian Tyres plc's new Nokian Z ultra-high performance tire will be available in Europe this spring.
Nokian has not disclosed if or when the tire will be available in North America.
"The demand for top performance tires is soaring in Europe," say Nokian officials. The Finnish company predicts that sales of ultra-high performance tires in Europe will increase by nearly 70% within three years.
The Nokian Z carries a W speed rating.
