James Zimmerman has retired from the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co.'s board of directors, effective immediately.
Zimmerman is the retired chairman of Federated Department Stores.
Robert Keegan, Goodyear chairman and CEO, said "the board accepted Jim's resignation with regret given the innumerable valuable contributions that he has made to the company and the high level of professionalism that he has demonstrated during his service to Goodyear."
