FATA urges membership to get involved

The Florida Automotive Trades Association (FATA) held meetings with key Florida government officials to discuss its 2005 legislative agenda.

FATA´s President Shawn Long, Executive Director Jill Mondo and FATA Lobbyist Patrick Bell met with Representative Leslie Waters, House Speaker Pro Tempore; Senate President Tom Lee and Senator Jim Sebesta, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Transportation regarding Solid Waste Management Trust Fund Issues, Collision issues and Budget issues.

All the delegates were very positive regarding FATA’s agenda, the association reports. And it urges its members to contact their local representatives to support the group’s 2005 initiatives.

FATA will meet to discuss its agenda at its fourth annual convention on July 29-31, 2005, at the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate in ChampionsGate, Fla.
