Ken-Tool Twist Socket Set named to 'Top 100'

Dec. 13, 2010

Ken-Tool’s Twist Socket Set has been named to the Professional Tool & Equipment News (PTEN) magazine’s “2010 Top 100 Most Requested Tools” by the readership.

The magazine selected the Twist Socket Set as one of the 25 featured tools in its January 2011 issue.

The Twist Socket allows a technician to remove a damaged hex-head on a bolt or nut by positively gripping into the surface of a damaged bolt head or nut to allow it to be removed by using an ingenious counterclockwise spiral grip surface integrated into the socket, Ken Tool notes. The more force applied to the twist socket, the greater gripping force is delivered against the nut or bolt head.

Twist Sockets are available in eight kit sets for light-, medium- and heavy duty applications, plus several individual double end sockets.
