Genuine Boyds moves production facility

Dec. 1, 2010

Genuine Boyds reports it has moved into a larger, state-of-the-art custom wheel production facility in Anaheim, Calif.

The new manufacturing facility features cutting-edge data systems, CAD/CAM equipment and CNC machines, the company says, which will allow for faster design cycles, tighter tolerances, improved quality and faster production of all Genuine Boyds’ wheels.

The firm's sales, marketing and administration personnel will remain at company headquarters in Kansas City, Mo.

Founders Boyd Coddington Jr. and Chris Coddington note they are focusing the company's energies on custom-built two-piece wheels for the hot rod, custom, G-Machine and performance wheel markets.

Genuine Boyds’ products can be seen in the company’s recently released its 2011 catalog or on the Web site www.billetwheel.com.

“Demand for our wheels has been very high,” says Boyd Coddington Jr. “I couldn’t have dreamed that we would have experienced this kind of growth so quickly and I am happy to say that we can now exceed demand and provide the most competitive turnaround times with even better quality wheels.”
