The Marangoni Group has decided to carry over the Marix brand to the truck and OTR retreaded tires made at its factory in Rovereto (Trento), Italy.
Until now, the "Marix by Marangoni" brand was reserved for car, light truck and light commercial vehicle retreaded tires manufactured in the Rovereto plant.
"This new market approach means we can highlight the products made at our Rovereto plant, so as to better emphasise our business in the direct retreading sector,” says Brenno Benaglia, sales manager for Marangoni SpA's commercial and industrial tire business unit.
The new Marix range essentially includes the Marix RP and RP 100 product lines; all are guaranteed for five years. The retreads feature compounds designed to ensure low rolling resistance and minimum environmental impact.
The new Marix truck tire retreads will be sold in Europe.
