American Tire Distributors Inc.(ATD) will open a new distribution center in McCook, Ill., that will serve the greater Chicago area.
The warehouse will exceed 100,000 square feet and is expected to open in February 2011, says an ATD spokesman.
Last month, ATD announced that it also will begin opening facilities in the northeastern U.S. next year. The company is conducting site evaluations in New Jersey, New York, Massachusetts and other New England states.
