Alliance Tire Group has introduced a new flotation tire, the Flotation Radial Series 388, for severe-duty agricultural applications.
The tire boasts a large soil contact area, a curved bar tread pattern that provides traction in the field and smooth operation on the road, and other features, according to Alliance officials.
It has been designed mainly for spreaders, tankers and other heavy-duty agricultural trailers that split their time between field and road duty, says Alliance Marketing Director James Tuschner.
"The Series 388 flotation tire is another technological achievement that we've developed to help farmers and farm equipment manufacturers get more accomplished."
The tire is available in 10 sizes, ranging from 500/60R22.5 to 850/45R34.
