Federal incentive trip winners tour Taiwan

Nov. 11, 2010

Federal Tyres recently hosted four tire dealers from Spain who had earned incentive tours of Taiwan and the company's production facilities.

After arriving at Taoyuan International Airport last month, the delegation took a city tour followed by a visit to Cheng Ching Lake and the Spring & Autumn Shrine Pavilions. Traveling on the Taiwan High Speed Rail, the dealers also took in the picturesque landscapes of Kenting National Park and Kaohsiung City.

The customized tour also took them to renowned sightseeing spots and metropolitan areas of Taipei City including Shilin Night Market, Federal reports. The trip then continued to the Longsan Temple and finished at Taipei 101, the tallest building in Asia and a one-stop shopping center.

In addition to visiting popular tourist spots, the Taoyuan-based manufacturer was one of the highlights of the tour, Federal adds. During the tour, the dealers were given "start-to-finish" information of how each Federal tire is made from carcass assembly to bead installation, belt/tread application and, finally, the curing process.
