For the first three quarters of 2010, the Independent Tire Dealers Group LLC (ITDG) is on pace for another record year, "the best year by far," according to CEO and President Michael Cox.
"With the increase in purchases from existing members, several new key vendors, and the expansion of our geographic footprint through the addition of new members, we will exceed forecasts for both top- and bottom-line growth," he says.
"The captive insurance company we formed several years ago is also experiencing phenomenal growth."
To help with the continued performance of the Independent Innovative Captive Insurance Co., the ITDG has added two new positions to that organization.
1. Jasmeen Ahdi Ubhi was hired as in-house legal council and risk manager.
2. David Torres and his company, Employer Support Group, have contracted with ITDG to focus on claims resolution.
ITDG also has updated its Web site, www.itdgusa.com.
"The new site fits ITDG's need of enhancing communication with members and creating a more intuitive and faster Web experience for both members and ITDG management," adds Cox.
The Independent Tire Dealers Group has 125 members representing 341 tire and service center locations in 25 states.
