Kumho renews B.A.S.S. fishing sponsorship

Kumho Tire U.S.A. Inc. will sponsor B.A.S.S. fishing tour events for the third year in a row.

B.A.S.S. is the world's largest fishing organization, with more than 560,000 members, say Kumho officials.

"Our relationship with B.A.S.S. has been very rewarding and has helped us raise the brand awareness of Kumho among outdoor sports enthusiasts," says Mike Leverington, Kumho director of marketing.

"Our relationship with B.A.S.S. also opens the door for Kumho dealers to get involved with local B.A.S.S. chapters by participating in local tournaments and events."

The 2003 B.A.S.S. season includes two major events: the 10-tournament Citgo Bassmaster Tour and the Citgo Bassmasters Classic, which offers a $200,000 top prize.
