Kumho teams up with Ohio State's Buckeyes
Kumho Tire U.S.A. Inc. will sponsor the Ohio State Buckeyes football program during the upcoming 2010 college football season.
The company says it will promote its sponsorship with "an extensive campaign encompassing video, print and web-based advertising," including
* video board and in-stadium LED signage at the 102,000-seat Ohio Stadium;
* a full-page ad in game-day programs for all home games;
* Web banners on the "Ohio State Athletics" Web site, www.ohiostatebuckeyes.com; and
* a 15-foot by 20-foot interactive booth at the "Fan Zone" before all Ohio State home games.
The sponsorship also includes VIP hospitality at all home games for Kumho’s dealers and customers.
“Ohio State’s huge base of passionate fans are exactly the type of consumers Kumho values and will engage with as we significantly increase our efforts in sports marketing,” says Armand Allaire, Kumho’s national vice president of sales.
Ohio State opened its 2010 season on Thursday, Sept. 2, at home against the Thundering Herd of Marshall University.
