Greg Shaw, owner of Commercial Tire in Dublin, Ohio, a suburb of Columbus, recently died. He was 64.

"Greg was involved in tire service in his area for many years," says Dave Richards Jr., owner of Canton Bandag Co. in Canton, Ohio. Shaw bought retreads from Canton Bandag.

Shaw, who founded Commercial Tire in 1980, was a hands-on owner, according to Richards. "He was a very hard worker. He was still changing tires himself. We dealt with him for many years."

Services have already been held.
