ACCC teams up with Children's Miracle Network

Aug. 3, 2010

During the month of August, American Car Care Centers (ACCC) dealers throughout the country will raise funds for their local children's hospitals in conjunction with the Children's Miracle Network (CMN).

"Each ACCC member will have the opportunity to offer CMN balloons at their dealerships," say ACCC officials. "The funds raised by dealers will be donated to CMN hospitals in their respective communities."

Last year's ACCC-CMN campaign generated $245,000, more than $150,000 of which was raised by ACCC dealers. Approximately 136 hospitals across the country benefited from the fundraising drive.

"ACCC is proud to be associated with CMN," says ACCC CEO and President Len Lewin. "What is especially compelling about this charity is the fact that 100% of the donations we solicit reach their intended destination. Funds raised by ACCC dealers always go to the CMN hospital in their respective communities.

"This tremendous organization provides state-of-the-art care, life saving research and preventive education to millions of children each year, and we are committed to supporting their efforts on an ongoing basis."

CMN raises funds for more than 170 hospitals in all. ACCC has more than 1,000 members.
