July 19, 2010

Maine Industrial Tire LLC recently completed several office and facility realignments "to better serve (our) future global operation," according to the company.

The company consolidated its corporate headquarters and accompanying functions from
Malden, Mass., to a new location in Wakefield, Mass. "This move completes Maine
Industrial Tire’s separation from GPX International Tire Corp." (See "Maine Industrial buys GPX's solid tire business.")

Maine Industrial Tire also opened a distribution center in Santa Fe Springs, Calif, which allows the company "to return to a strategic market location that will better serve (our) valued customers and corporate partners."

In Canada, the company consolidated its Canadian operations into a new office and distribution
center in Brampton, Ontario, and closed its distribution and retail facility in Lachine, Quebec.

Maine Industrial Tire manufactures and globally distributes Maine, MITL, ITL and Brawler solid tire products for conventional fork lift, construction and specialty market applications.
