Michelin hires ad agency for Uniroyal brand

Michelin North America Inc. announced it has awarded its Uniroyal brand advertising account to Greenville, S.C.-based Erwin-Penland Inc.

The Uniroyal brand account was placed in review earlier this year after Michelin refocused its brand marketing strategy.

"All of the finalists were excellent candidates. However, Erwin-Penland

captivated the brand's interests and our strategic direction for the future," said Tim Jamison, brand marketing manager.

Erwin-Penland will begin work on the account immediately. The agency has more than $80 million in annual capitalized billings and 84 employees.
