Sullivan Tire reports it has re-signed former Boston Red Sox Hall of Fame left fielder and current New England Sports Network (NESN) Red Sox analyst Jim Rice as a company spokesman.

Rice will participate in Sullivan Tire promotions and events for the remainder of the 2010 baseball season.

“We are thrilled to have Jim Rice on our team again this season,” says Sullivan Tire Vice President Paul Sullivan. “His record of success and our commitment to our customers is a winning combination and we are delighted to have him representing the Sullivan Tire brand.”

Rice continues his relationship with Sullivan Tire which began over five years ago and has included event appearances, television commercial appearances, as well as participating in a charity golf tournament.

Rice spent his whole career with the Boston Red Sox and is widely considered one of the best hitters in the clubs lengthy history, says the company. His resume includes eight All Star selections and one Most Valuable Player award. He now is a full-time baseball analyst for NESN.
