Burggraf Tire acquires dealership in Arkansas

Order Reprints

Burggraf Tire has acquired Galloway Tire, a 22-bay independent tire dealership in Fort Smith, Ark. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.

The acquisition gives Burggraf, which is based in Quapaw, Okla., four retail stores, says Ron Thrasher, the company's executive vice president.

Galloway Tire, which has been in business for more than 55 years, will continue to operate under its current name, according to Thrasher.

Burggraf Tire has big plans for the location. "We'll put a distribution center in there at some point so we can better service our dealers in Arkansas."

The company has three distribution centers that serve Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas and several other states.
