Continental Tire North America Inc. (CTNA) will raise its Continental, General and private brand passenger and light truck tire prices 5% on Dec. 1.
The increase affects all replacement sales channels, according to CTNA officials.
Cooper Tire & Rubber Co., Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. and Yokohama Tire Corp. also will raise prices on Dec. 1.
Bridgestone/Firstone North American Tire LLC, Hankook Tire America Corp., Pirelli Tire North America Inc. and Toyo Tire (U.S.A.) Corp. will hike prices on Jan. 1, 2003.
Kumho Tire U.S.A. Inc. raised prices earlier this month. Michelin North America Inc. raised prices up to 4% on certain SKUs of BFGoodrich tires.
