The eighth China International Tire Expo (CITEXPO 2010) will be held at Shanghai Everbright Convention and Exhibition Center in Shanghai, China, Sept. 8- 10, 2010.
According to Wilko Fong, managing director of Reliable International Exhibition Services Co. Ltd., the number of booked exhibitor spaces has exceeded last year's at this time. He expects the number of exhibitors to top 300, occupying space in three halls. Meanwhile, the number of pre-registered visitors from over 80 countries has significantly increased compared to the same time last year.
On display will be the latest products and technology in radial tires, bias tires, wheels and rims, tire maintenance equipments, retread materials and equipment, tire production material and equipment and other related products. Reliable also noted that there will be some new business fields taking part in this year’s CITEXPO, such as standards certification services and testing equipment for production equipment.
Besides the major Chinese manufacturers, some foreign brands such as Cooper ChengShan Tire and 31 Incorporated from the U.S., Nankang Tire from Taiwan (China), Maxam Tire and Acacia Wheels from Italy, Hofmann from Germany, S&H Tyres BV and The VMI Group from Holland, and Stamford Tyres from Singapore will be presented by their Chinese representatives, joint venture companies and other suppliers at this year’s show.
Passenger, industrial and OTR tires will still be the major exhibits at the show, says Reliable. There also will be wheels, tire maintenance equipments and accessories.

Additionally, the fifth Automotive Testing Expo (China) is being held the week after CITEXPO in the National Agricultural Exhibition Center in Beijing.
