Counter Intelligence keys on communication

When it comes to making the sale, communication is everything, writes Wayne Williams in the June edition of Modern Tire Dealer. "The rest," he says, "is presentation."

Williams' column, Counter Intelligence, discusses the finer points of salesperson-customer communication.

"I don't care how clean or dirty the store is or whose name is on the building. I don't care how many years a person has been in business or how many stores a dealer has. It doesn't matter how cool the Web site is or how many brands the dealership offers. If the communication is broken, the store is broken. Period."
