Michelin North America Inc. has received a Platinum Award from the National Business Group on Health, a non-profit group consisting of large employers.
Michelin received the award for "its commitment and dedication to promoting a healthy workplace," according to company officials. "The award also recognizes Michelin for encouraging its workers and families to support and maintain healthy lifestyles."
The tiremaker was specifically honored for its Choose Well-Live Well program, which provides employees and their families with a health care advocate "to help them navigate the health care system and improve efficiency through better coordination of care."
