Ford Motor Co. has honored Pirelli Tire North America (PTNA) with its World Excellence Award, which recognizes the tire company as a top global supplier to the auto manufacturer.
"The World Excellence Awards honor production and non-production suppliers that have exceeded Ford's highest standards in cost, quality, technology and delivery," say Pirelli officials.
David Colletti, director of original equipment for PTNA, says Pirelli "is proud to be associated with Ford Motor Co. and to be recognized for its dedication to reliability of service, performance and overall consumer-driven improvement in all levels of our business."
