Sumitomo Rubber Industries Ltd. has promoted Yasushi (Tank) Tanaka to executive officer of Sumitomo. He also retains his position as chairman and CEO of Falken Tire Corp. in North America.
Tanaka joined Sumitomo in 1976, and has spent the majority of his career in the export and OE departments of Sumitomo Rubber Industries (SRI) and SRI Tire Trading Ltd. He joined Falken in 2007.
