Yokohama Tire Corp. is partnering with Isuzu Commercial Truck of America Inc. to establish what Yokohama officials call "an innovative commercial truck dealer program."
According to Yokohama, the new program gives Isuzu commercial truck dealers "the opportunity to provide their customers with Yokohama's full line of commercial tires, including (the tiremaker's) low rolling resistance Zenvironment line and EPA SmartWay-verified tires.
"In addition to products, participating dealers will have access to point-of-sale display materials that will help enhance their showroom while providing customer education on the benefits of Yokohama tires. Point-of-sale essentials include brochures, bulletins, literature racks and banners."
"This new partnership with Isuzu is all about servicing the needs of America's commercial fleets and truck drivers," says John Cooney, Yokohaama director of commercial sales. "They will now have more access to our product through the nearly 300-strong Isuzu dealer network. The program also will improve the dealers' ability to provide additional customer service."
As part of the deal, Yokohama will be the approved replacement tire for the Isuzu Priority Service Maintenance Program.
