The DynoMax Performance Exhaust division of Tenneco Inc. recently introduced two products for late-model year Ford vehicles.
A new stainless steel cat-back exhaust system for the 2009 Ford F-150 trucks features the company's Ultra Flo Welded muffler: a straight-through, unrestricted design that supports up to 2,000 SCFM and 2,000 hp. It is built with Continuous Roving Fiberglass technology "to absorb unwanted interior resonance and provide a rich, deep performance tone," according to the company.
The system has three-inch, mandrel-bent, 409-grade stainless steel piping -- which provides protection against corrosion -- and a performance, show-styled double-walled, logo-embossed, four-inch tip.
DynoMax also has two new cat-back performance exhaust systems for several late-model Mustangs.
* Ultra Flo Welded mufflers are engineered to boost horsepower by 20 and add 18-ft. lbs. of torque for 2005-2009 Ford Mustang GTs; and
* Race Bullet mufflers, which feature a lightweight, compact muffler design for the 2010 Mustang GT.
All DynoMax systems include original equipment-quality hangers and brackets "for easy, fast installation," adds DynoMax. They are covered by a limited lifetime warranty and exclusive 90-day "Performance and Sound Guarantee" that lets enthusiasts try the muffler for 90 days.
