TANA announces positive results from annual audit

Oct. 25, 2001

Revenues for the Tire Association of North America (TANA) exceeded expenses by $187,337 in 2000, according to results from the association's annual audit. TANA's net worth at year's end was $871,456.

The audit was compiled by Johnson/Lambert, a Bethesda, Md.-based independent accounting and consulting firm.

“Four years ago, we were really struggling,” says TANA Treasurer Tom Wright. “I’m very proud of the turnaround engineered by the association’s board of directors.”

TANA is celebrating its 80th birtday this year. It will be hosting the International Tire Expo in Las Vegas, Nev., from Oct. 30 through Nov. 2. More information on the association may be accessed on the Internet at www.tana.net.
