Hankook Tire America Corp. is offering tire buyers up to $50 in cash back rebates as part of its "Great Catch" Mail-in Rebate Program. which kicks off April 1 and runs through May 31.
Customers who buy four select Hankook Ventus V12 evo, Ventus V4 ES or Optimo H727 tires between those dates are eligible for the rebate.
Hankook also is offering consumers an opportunity to enter a random drawing to win a new 2010 Chevrolet Camaro as part of its "Great Catch" Car Giveaway. The winner will be chosen on July 10.
To support the programs, Hankook has developed point-of-sale items for its dealers. The company also will promote the programs via TV, online and print advertising.
"Our economy is slowly rebounding but many consumers have delayed vehicle maintenance, including the purchase of replacement tires," says Bill Bainbridge, Hankook director of brand communications. "Driving on worn tires is a safety concern as much as it is a performance issue, and we're hoping this promotion will catch people's attention and give them the extra incentive to purchase Hankook tires."
