Nitto Tire U.S.A. Inc. has launched a series of online videos designed to help consumers understand the importance of proper tire maintenance. The videos are available on www.nittotire.com
They cover tire rotation, tire balancing, proper air pressure inflation and other important subjects.
"The vast majority of consumers don't understand how routine services like balancing, rotation and even checking air pressure could extend tire life," says Nitto spokesman Stephen Leu, who spearheaded the project.
"We wanted to help our industry by explaining the benefits of these services in an easy-to-follow video format."
All of the series' four videos "are designed to be informative while also being easily understandable," say Nitto officials. "The information is presented concisely and uses visuals to illustrate each concept. In some videos, 3D animations were used to help explain the more technical aspects of services and procedures.
"The videos are intended to empower consumers and help them make service decisions to get the most out of their tire purchase and driving enjoyment."
