Nitto Tire U.S.A. Inc. has released more information about its Terra Grappler All Terrain tire, which its parent company, Toyo Tire Holdings of Americas Inc., is recalling.
The tire's size is 305/50R20, with Department of Transportation serial numbers 73K8C2H2209, 73K8C2H2309 and 73K8C2H3109.
Toyo is recalling approximately 818 of the tires sold in the U.S. The tires were built at Toyo's White, Ga., plant from the 22nd week of 2009 through the 31st week of 2009. "Tires manufactureed before or after this period are not involved," say Nitto officials.
Toyo also is recalling certain Toyo Open Country A/T and Toyo Proxes ST II tires.
