Don Baldwin, business segment manager for Michelin Americas Truck Tires, has been named to the board of the North American Council for Freight Efficiency.
Baldwin is the only tire manufacturer representative on the board and was one of the council's 19 original founders.
The council collects, analyzes and circulates performance information from testing agencies and labs and provides efficiency information with fleet owners, truck drivers and other entities.
"The health of the freight industry depends on the ability of its carriers to implement more energy efficient solutions," says Baldwin.
