Tenneco improves suspension technology

Feb. 10, 2010

Tenneco Inc. recently introduced its next generation of Rancho shock absorbers using its QuickLIFT suspension technology. Rancho Loaded QuickLIFT shock absorbers feature an application-specific coil spring and upper mounting plate.

The new off-road products were engineered with two things in mind: simplifying installation and improving performance compared to the original QuickLIFT shock absorbers.

“The new Loaded QuickLIFT is completely assembled straight out of the box, making it even easier for shops and do-it-yourselfers to complete fast installs,” says Joe Pase, Tenneco's director of performance products.

Finished in liquid metallic silver, Rancho Loaded QuickLIFT shock absorbers provide 1 inch to 2.5 inches of additional lift, allowing for the use of larger wheel and tire packages "and providing an aggressive vehicle stance," according to Tenneco. The products are fully compatible with the Rancho MyRIDE Wireless Controller.
