The Tire Association of North America (TANA) has announced results of the second free-standing election in its 80-year history.
Board members elected this year are John Adams, Big O Tires, Englewood, Colo.; Gary Albright, Becker Tire & Treading Co., Great Bend, Kan.; Barb Briggs, Briggs & Sons Tire, Fayetteville, N.C.; Ernie Caraminico, Amityville Firestone, Amityville, N.Y.; Jim Melvin, Tire Pros, Johnston, R.I.; Bud Mullaney, Mullaney Tire Service, Matawan, N.J.; Don Nebelsick, Don's Tire & Supply, Abilene, Kan.; Jim Short, Radial Tire & Bandag, Jasper, Ala.; Doug Swanson, Modern Tire Co., Eden Prairie, Minn.; and Stu Zurcher, Zurcher Tire & Auto, Angola, Ind.
TANA's board of directors has 36 members. New board members will be inducted at TANA's Annual Meeting and Hall of Fame Breakfast on Oct. 30 at The International Tire Expo in Las Vegas, Nev.
