Tire Discounters Inc. has named Patrick Mathews chief financial officer.
“As Tire Discounters moves forward with plans to open 12 new stores and remodel many existing stores over the course of the next 12 months, it’s important that we have the right management infrastructure in place to support this expansion," says Paul Brunner, CEO and president.
Brunner says Mathews extensive experience guiding companies’ expansion efforts "will bring immense value and help fuel continued growth for Tire Discounters.”
Mathews is a certified public accountant and began his career as a staff tax accountant for the Castellini Company, one of the largest distributors of fresh produce in the United States, before moving into public accounting with Deloitte & Touche in Cincinnati.
He also has held CFO and senior management positions for many businesses. Mathews also provided consulting services for dozens of companies for enhancing enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and streamlining operations.
