Griffin Brothers Companies has opened its 10th Griffin Brothers Tires, Wheels and Auto Repair store. The new outlet is located in Matthews, N.C.
The new store is located in a former Meineke Car Care facility in the Idlewild Market Shopping Center off I-485. A grand opening celebration is planned for mid-November.
Customer-friendly amenities include individual kiosks where service advisors can assist customers, a waiting room with a play area for youngsters, an internet workstation for laptops and complimentary refreshments and customer shuttle. The shop has eight bays.
“Even with nine area locations, we really didn’t have a presence on the east side of town,” says Larry Griffin, Jr. “We’re excited that we’ll be in a much better position to serve Matthews, Mint Hill and the surrounding communities.”
The new outlet will be managed by Chris Wright. He previously managed the company’s Pineville location. The company plans to hire six technicians and service advisors to staff the new store.
Family-owned since 1961, Griffin Brothers Tires, Wheels & Auto Repair is a full-service tire and automotive repair shop. Griffin Brothers has locations throughout the greater Charlotte-metro area, with stores in Cornelius, Charlotte, Mooresville, Concord, Pineville, Lincolnton and Shelby.
